Your name came up when I was talking to Si this weekend in Attenborough and as is my bent, I’m dropping one of my infamous (and very) occasional notes to you.

Your web empire seems to infiltrate every piece of the internet pie – it looks good too.

I understand from Si (and through your website) that you’re back in Canada. Was the pull too strong?

I’m still in Yorkshire – Hebden Bridge, Lesbian Capital of Britain, to be precise. I’m self-employed, partly by choice, triggered by ‘the man’s’ decision to scrap Carlton TV in Nottingham. However, I’m really enjoying the freedom to earn money wherever and take holidays whenever. So far there’s no shortage of work (as a video editor) . I’ve got a documentary on ITV1 and a Science show on BBC2 this month.

I hope you and the family are in great shape.

Perhaps we’ll have the good fortune to cross paths again soon.
