Thanks! I didn’t meet those guys, but theirs is a great font! (I love their Subway font too.) Along similar lines, there’s also this artwork by Heidi Cody. (I made life difficult for myself by excluding brands that weren’t related to media outlets and owners.)

I just want to signal an error in your answers. The first logo is Fido, but it belongs to Microcell Telecom and not Rogers Communications. The board of directors advised the shareholders to sell their stocks to Rogers but there has not been any transactions as of yet.
